In the given scenario we can use direct approach but we not do it. Because direct approach became so expensive and less understandable. Due to complexity of direct approach possibilities of bugs became so high.
may be later on we have to extend our data base OR

we have to make another application on that database. So, it is batter to design this database in more efficient way so we design conceptual database firstly in E-R data model and then later transform it into the data model of our DBMS.
